Slovenia’s Minister of Foreign and European Affairs on a Working Visit to Chisinau: What She Discussed with Igor Grosu

Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu met with Slovenia’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign and European Affairs, Tanja Fajon. The two officials discussed the progress made over the past year on both the parliamentary and European agendas, as well as the political situation in the Republic of Moldova.

“The Republic of Moldova and Slovenia share many commonalities, and most importantly, we support each other because we want the same thing: peace and prosperity for all our citizens,” emphasized the Speaker of Parliament.

The dignitaries agreed to strengthen cooperation between Moldova and Slovenia in areas such as anti-corruption efforts, democracy building, economic and security development, agriculture, tourism, IT, light industry, and waste management.

Meanwhile, Romanian President Nicusor Dan is also in Chisinau. He has met with Maia Sandu and will hold talks with Igor Grosu.
