The ATIC and Partners Launch Digital Empowerment Initiative for Women Across the Dniester

The National Association of Information and Communication Technologies Companies (ATIC), in partnership with the Agency for Innovation and Development, has launched an initiative to empower women on both banks of the Dniester River. The program aims to help women integrate into the digital economy and improve their employment opportunities.

At least 60 participants—including refugees from Ukraine—will benefit from online training in digital marketing, graphic design, and project management. The initiative also offers mentorship, career support, and access to an active professional community. Additionally, it includes organizing the Tech Women event in Tiraspol and the Career Tech Expo in Chisinau to connect participants with employers and industry partners.

Supported by France and implemented through the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), with funding from Sweden and the United Kingdom, this initiative operates under the AdTrade programme. AdTrade seeks to develop export capacities and strengthen economic ties between the banks of the Dniester.

The ATIC and the Agency for Innovation and Development reaffirm their commitment to creating safe and supportive environments for the personal and professional growth of women across all regions of Moldova.
