The Central Electoral Commission (CEC) approved a calendar program for the organization and holding of the presidential election and the republican constitutional referendum on October 20, 2024.
The document will be handed over for familiarization and implementation within the competencies to the political parties represented in the parliament, the central and local public authorities, and the electoral bodies after their formation.
According to the provisions of the calendar program, the electoral period of the presidential elections and the republican constitutional referendum will start on Thursday, August 1, 2024.

The CEC reminds that from August 21, the period of nomination and collection of signatures of supporters of candidates for the presidential elections in the Republic of Moldova will start, as well as the submission of documents for registration as a participant in the referendum. The election campaign for the presidential election and the constitutional republican referendum will start on September 20, 2024.
