The National Army of the Republic of Moldova has received dozens of vehicles from the European Union, provided through the European Peace Facility.

The donation includes buses, trucks, minibuses, SUVs, and pickup trucks, which will be used by Moldovan soldiers to improve mobility and operational efficiency.

According to Defense Minister Anatolie Nosatii, the vehicles “mean safety and better conditions for moving from one mission to another, as well as for events or any other type of activity.”

“Thank you to the representatives of the EU Mission in Moldova, as well as to the European institutions and states that contributed to the implementation of this important project for the National Army and its personnel,” the minister stated.

Nosatii emphasized that this assistance represents an example of effective cooperation between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union, and serves as proof of the EU’s commitment to strengthening Moldova’s defense capabilities.
