The European Union delegation to Moldova warns Moldovan citizens about the increasing Russian propaganda as the referendum on EU accession and the presidential elections approach.
In a message posted on social media, the EU urges Moldovans to seek information from reliable sources and be wary of fake news.
“As the referendum on Moldova’s European integration nears, Russian propaganda intensifies. Fake information and sophisticated fake videos spread online, while hundreds of new pages appear overnight to replace blocked ones on social networks.”
