The press service of the Foreign Ministry reports that according to information provided by the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in the Russian Federation, the death of a Moldovan citizen in the terrorist attack in Moscow has been confirmed.

“We express our deepest condolences to the family, relatives, and friends. The Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Moscow is in constant contact with the local authorities and is ready to take all necessary consular actions,” the ministry said in a statement.

Kristina Kostyuchenko was at the Crocus City Hall concert hall with her husband, Pavel. Relatives recognized her in one of the videos of the moment of shooting. The woman was hiding behind her seat. Later she appeared in the list of the dead. About the fate of her spouse at the moment nothing is known. The couple has two children.

“Moldova condemns terrorism.” This statement was made by Moldovan President Maia Sandu after the terrorist attack that took place in Moscow’s Crocus City Hall concert hall.

“My condolences to all the families of the victims of the terrorist attack in Moscow. Moldova condemns terrorism and any form of violence against civilians, and innocent people. We empathize with the victims and all those who lost loved ones as a result of terrorist attack,” Maia Sandu wrote on her Facebook page.

The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Mihai Popsoi, also expressed his condolences.

“We categorically condemn the terrorist attack in Moscow, which led to the irreparable loss of many innocent lives. Terrorism, regardless of its motives, is absolutely unacceptable and has no justification. We mourn together with the families and loved ones of the victims,” Popsoi wrote on his Facebook page.
