The Cabinet of Ministers on May 15 approved the Regulation on cooperation between the Customs Service and market surveillance bodies to ensure the safety and conformity of products imported to Moldova.
The document establishes a single mechanism of product control and a standard format of data to be transmitted when exchanging information between the bodies.
The State Inspectorate for Supervision of Non-Food Products and Consumer Protection, the Inspectorate for Environmental Protection, the Agency for Medicines and Medical Devices, and the Customs Service will exchange the data on the MConnect platform.
