Chisinau Mayor Ion Ceban delivered a message on the occasion of International Children’s Day, which people celebrate annually on June 1. He wished children a day full of joy and beautiful moments with their families.
“Today is your day, and I wish you a day full of smiles alongside your parents. You are our joy, our hope, our present, and our future. May you grow up healthy, happy, and surrounded by love,” Ion Ceban said.
The mayor encouraged children to keep dreaming and believing in their abilities, emphasizing that each of them can help build a better world.
“May you have a magical childhood filled with wonderful memories. As parents, we should always stand by our children and work together to create the conditions for their future. We must care for them, support them, motivate them, believe in them, give them wings, and love them,” he added.
People celebrate International Children’s Day every year on June 1 in the Republic of Moldova and many other countries around the world. On this occasion, organizers hold various cultural, educational, and recreational activities for children and their families.
