The Moldova–EU Investment Conference will take place in Chisinau on June 4, Prime Minister Alexandru Munteanu announced.

He stated at the start of the Government meeting that he will open the event together with Marta Kos. He emphasized that authorities in Chișinău aim to turn reform progress into concrete economic results.

“I followed the statement made by Marta Kos during her meeting with members of the European Parliament, where she said that Moldova is the leading country in terms of reforms. It is important to accelerate and transform these achievements into tangible economic outcomes. On June 4, we are organizing the Moldova–EU Investment Conference, which I will have the honor to open together with Marta Kos. We are currently preparing this conference. We will all take part. It is an important event. It is not a formal one,” the prime minister said.

Marta Kos recently told Members of the European Parliament that Moldova ranks first in implementing accession reforms, while Ukraine ranks second. According to the Brussels official, Moldova has reached a 93% progress rate in this process.
