The National Police confirmed that fugitive Ilan Shor plans to organize a wave of protests in Chisinau. Some participants received instructions on how to register for an app to receive money transfers via PSB. Organizers also told protesters that several demonstrations would follow one another, and those who stayed overnight in tents would receive payment.
“We urge the public not to respond to illegal invitations and not to become complicit in committing crimes or offenses. We also note that in recent days, the criminal organization introduced new methods for registering protest participants in order to facilitate transfers through PSB,” the General Inspectorate of Police (GIP) stated.
“At the same time, we inform the public that the so-called ‘protest’ organized at the request of the leader of the criminal organization, Ilan Shor, is unauthorized and lacks a designated location. The two sites he announced are already reserved for other activities. We urge all citizens to respect the law,” the GIP added.
