The President of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, undertakes an official visit to the Republic of Moldova, at the invitation of President Maia Sandu. The presidential institution in Athens announces this in a press release.
“Official visit to Moldova, from February 28 to March 2, at the invitation of the President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu.”
Meanwhile, the presidential institution in Chisinau did not offer any statement in this regard.
We remind you that Maia Sandu invited the president of Greece, Katerina Sakellaropoulou, to Chisinau as early as July 2022, during a working visit to Athens. Sandu thanked her for the humanitarian assistance offered to the Republic of Moldova by Greece in the context of the war in Ukraine, as well as for the support given in our country’s European journey.

In this context, the IGP issued a press release stating that Moldova will be visited by an official delegation, between February 28 at 08.00 and March 2 at 18.00, in the center of the capital and the adjacent streets, the access of vehicles and persons for holding meetings and mass demonstrations.
The police ask all citizens to adopt civilized behavior and to submit unconditionally to the legal requirements of law enforcement, including avoiding conflicts of any nature.
