The Parliament of the Republic of Moldova will host, for the first time, a meeting of the Presidents of the EU Affairs Committees and the Foreign Affairs Committees of the European Union member states. The event, titled “United4Moldova,” will take place on Saturday, November 4, on the platform of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Committee.
Numerous friends of the Republic of Moldova, including parliamentarians from various EU member states, representatives of the European Parliament, and diplomats, will discuss the topic of our country’s European perspective and how to support Moldova’s European integration efforts.
To open the meeting, welcome messages will be delivered by the participants of the event, including President Maia Sandu, Speaker of the Parliament Igor Grosu, Prime Minister Dorin Recean, Chair of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Committee Doina Gherman, and the Head of the EU Delegation in the Republic of Moldova, Jānis Mažeiks.

The discussions will be held within three sessions: European integration – achievements, actions to be taken, and lessons learned; economic development and energy security; security resilience. Members of Parliament, ministers, state secretaries, and presidential advisers will present the situation in the Republic of Moldova, the progress made in the EU accession process, and the challenges that our country needs to overcome. At the end of the discussions, a resolution of the meeting will be approved.
The “United4Moldova” parliamentary diplomacy event is part of the efforts of the Foreign Policy and European Integration Committee of the Parliament of the Republic of Moldova to promote our country’s accession to the European Union and to deepen bilateral and regional relationships.
