The Republic of Moldova and Austria signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in art and culture

Moldova is strengthening its cultural cooperation with Austria. In Salzburg, officials signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in art and culture between the two countries.

Moldovan Culture Minister Sergiu Prodan and Austrian Vice Chancellor, Minister of Art, Culture, Public Service, and Sports Werner Kogler signed the Memorandum.

“According to the Memorandum, our countries undertake to deepen friendly relations and mutual cultural exchange. We seek to develop music, theater, dance, fine arts projects, architecture, design, fashion, photography, and media arts: cinema, literature, translation, and publishing. We aim to organize joint exhibitions with cultural institutions, especially contemporary art, and collaborate in the museum field and the protection of monuments and architectural heritage.
