The Republic of Moldova will participate in the International Exhibition “Expo Osaka 2025”

The Government of the Republic of Moldova approved the country’s participation in the International Exhibition “Expo Osaka 2025,” which will host over 150 countries and attract around 28 million visitors over six months. The project also includes provisions to finance Moldova’s participation, using funds allocated in the Ministry of Economic Development and Digitalization’s budget.

“Our participation in this exhibition presents an opportunity for international promotion and showcasing Moldova’s potential across various sectors of the national economy. Japan is also a key economic partner and a donor of technical and financial assistance,” the authority explained.

The exhibition will take place from April 13 to October 13, 2025.

At the previous Expo, in 2021 in Dubai, 174,133 visitors from 113 countries attended Moldova’s pavilion, which hosted 27 events and welcomed 70 delegations. The organizers of Expo 2020 awarded Moldova three major prizes. Moldova took 2nd place in the Mobility District for developing thematic content, a diploma for the best pavilion logo, and a diploma for the most hospitable pavilion.
