The Situation Worsens in the Transnistrian Region: Up to 8 Hours Without Electricity per Day

Starting January 7, there will be scheduled power outages in the Transnistrian region twice daily, for four hours each. The reason for the graph revision is the imbalance between consumption and production of energy resources, reports IPN.

The authorities state that the volume of energy produced is not sufficient to cover consumption. The new electricity supply regime will allow the adjustment of energy consumption to the level that the generating objectives can ensure.
