The U.S. Mission to Moldova announces the commencement of the recruitment season for Moldovan host institutions interested in welcoming a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant (ETA) for the academic year 2024-2025.
This initiative invites professional and trade schools, colleges, and universities located outside of Chisinau to submit applications to host a native English language teaching assistant for the duration of one academic year, spanning from September 2024 to May 2025. The primary objective of the ETA Program is to enhance English teaching and learning at Moldovan educational institutions. The program will be responsible for instructing English through immersive listening and speaking activities. It will be coupled with the implementation of cultural exchange programs.
The Moldova ETA program aims to cultivate English proficiency in Moldova while fostering cultural exchange between American and Moldovan students. It will promote mutual understanding and intercultural cooperation. ETAs, who are U.S. college graduates, are enthusiastic about teaching English abroad and are poised to serve as cultural ambassadors of the United States.
