Three Ambassadors Have Been Recalled from Their Positions. Who Are They

Three Moldovan ambassadors have been recalled from their positions. These include Anatol Ciubuc, Ambassador to Bulgaria, Igor Bodiu, Ambassador to Poland, and Oleg Tulea, Ambassador to Hungary. The decision was made during the Government meeting on Wednesday, December 18, 2024, at the proposal of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mihai Popsoi.

In this context, Violeta Agrici will become the Ambassador to Poland, Mihai Barbulat will serve as the Ambassador to Hungary, and Emil Jacota will become the Ambassador to Bulgaria.

During the meeting, it was also decided that Vladimir Cuc, Ambassador to the Swiss Confederation, will concurrently hold the position of Ambassador to the Principality of Liechtenstein, with residence in Geneva. Victoria Rosca, the current Ambassador to Austria, will also serve as Ambassador to the Slovak Republic, with residence in Vienna. Gabriela Moraru, the current Ambassador to the Czech Republic, will additionally take on the role of Ambassador to the Holy See, with residence in Prague.

Meanwhile, Ruslan Bolboceanu, Ambassador to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, has been appointed Permanent Representative to the International Maritime Organization, and Sergiu Odainic, Ambassador to Canada, will also serve as Moldova’s Representative to the International Civil Aviation Organization.

The Cabinet also approved the appointment of Adrian Popescu as Consul General in Milan, Italy.
