Three young people from the Republic of Moldova received Royal Scholarships of Excellence from the Royal Family of Romania during an official ceremony held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at Pelesh Castle.
The recipients are:
- Ionela Solovei – Moldova State University
- Mihai Untila – Technical University of Moldova
- Irina Podlesnova – Technical University of Moldova
The Royal Family awards these scholarships, named after Queen Marie, King Michael I, and Queen Anne, to students who demonstrate exceptional academic performance and civic involvement.
Her Majesty Margareta, Custodian of the Crown, hosted the event alongside Prince Radu, Princess Elena, and Princess Sofia. After the award ceremony, guests attended a reception in the Concert Hall of Pelesh Castle.
