The voting process in Liverpool and Northampton, UK, was halted due to a bomb threat, according to diplomatic sources and voters at the scene, IPN reports. The incident led authorities to suspend electoral activities at these polling stations and evacuate the building for security checks.
A similar scare occurred at a polling station in Frankfurt. However, unlike in Liverpool, German police allowed voting to continue, assuring that there was no immediate threat.
As a reminder, on Sunday, November 3, 2024, the citizens of the Republic of Moldova will elect their President for the next four years. For this election, 2,219 polling stations have been established, including 1,988 within the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
