More than 50 percent of graduates with special educational needs or disabilities in the Republic of Moldova stop their studies after completing general secondary education, according to an analysis on inclusive education supported by UNICEF.

The report shows that more children now attend mainstream schools, but many students face major difficulties when they try to move to higher levels of education. Poor infrastructure, limited support services, and social barriers continue to block this transition.

The authors of the study stress the need for concrete measures to ensure continuity in education and equal opportunities for young people with disabilities.
