On the parade ground of the “Stefan cel Mare” Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 65 officers and 142 junior officers solemnly swore allegiance to the law and to the citizens today.
“I swear to uphold the law, protect the citizens, and be worthy of the trust I receive!” they declared in unison before the MAI leadership, instructors, and proud families.
The ceremony, full of emotion and symbolism, marks the start of these 207 young recruits’ journey in the Ministry of Internal Affairs—a path defined by responsibility, courage, and dedication to citizens’ safety.

Minister of Internal Affairs Daniella Misail-Nichitin encouraged and thanked the new MAI employees:
“Thank you for choosing this path and for your courage to dedicate your life to serving others. Remain honest, committed, and dignified in the mission you have undertaken. I also thank your families for supporting and encouraging you on this noble journey.”
By taking the Oath, these officers and junior officers officially joined the ranks of those who, day after day, uphold the law, protect the community, and serve the Republic of Moldova with devotion.
