Maia Sandu urges Moldovans to participate in the referendum on European integration. The President suggests to citizens that propaganda and lies cannot be stronger than the people.
In her address to the nation, the Head of State highlighted the importance of participating in the October 20th vote. According to Maia Sandu, those who do not show up to vote will demonstrate indifference and neglect toward their country, family, and their own lives.
“Do not let others decide for you. Do not let your neighbor make decisions on your behalf. Come to vote on October 20th and, regardless of your choice, speak freely and sincerely in the voting booth about the path you want Moldova to take,” the President said.
