The goal of the energy crisis in the Transnistrian region was to destabilize the economy of the right bank, believes Alexandr Slusari. According to the politician, the plan failed due to Moldova’s external partners.
The member of the Energocom Board stated during the “Realitatea te priveste” program on RLIVE TV that Brussels saved both banks of the Dniester. Sergiu Tofilat, an energy expert, highlighted that Victor Gusan, the businessman, knows he will lose his assets if Russian troops enter the region.

“The goal was to destabilize the economy on the right bank. They partially achieved this, but not as they wanted, due to external partners,” said Slusari.
In turn, Tofilat concluded that since no more free gas is coming to the region, “The free gas is over; their only solution is to come to us,” pointed out the expert.
