The Moldovan government has launched the website pentru.md, which presents information on the advantages and disadvantages of European integration. This was announced by Moldovan President Maia Sandu during a press conference at the headquarters of the Presidency.
On the pentru.md website, Moldovan citizens can find the following information:
- 5 reasons why a referendum is necessary right now.
- 7 examples of the development of other countries that joined the European Union.
- 10 myths about joining the European Union.

On February 8, Moldovan President Maia Sandu consulted with several parties on the EU accession referendum. Earlier, the president discussed this topic with the press, opinion makers, civil society, youth organizations, and several Moldovan politicians.
The president suggested holding the referendum on EU accession on the same day as the presidential election.
On December 28, 2023, the parliament voted for an amendment to the draft law to improve the electoral process. Thus, a republican referendum could be organized on the day of parliamentary, presidential, and local elections.
