“We need to become more hardworking and more disciplined,” said the PAS MP Victoria Belous. She made the statement in an interview with Newsmaker, where the former Minister of Finance discussed the difficulties businesses face in finding human resources, both at home and abroad.
Asked what she meant by discipline, the official gave the example of people who apply for a job but stop showing up shortly after they get hired.
“The business community points to a lack of seriousness among some people who start work and then leave after two days, without any sense of responsibility,” Belous explained.
Speaking more broadly about discipline and responsibility, the lawmaker added that “when we compare ourselves with other countries in terms of discipline and professionalism, we have a lot to learn and to implement in the Republic of Moldova.”
