Moldova’s citizens are at a historic moment when they alone can choose their fate. Action and Solidarity Party (PAS) MP Virgiliu Pislariuc, PhD in historical sciences, told it Rlive TV‘s “Realitatea te priveste.”
“We are now in a historical moment where, unlike before, we are not handed opportunities on a platter, but a significant window has opened for us. There we can express our point of view. Very rarely in our history have we been asked what we want. They usually came and got what they wanted,” Virgiliu Pislariuc said.
Pislariuc says that our people, in the 33 years since independence, have had very few chances to decide such important issues.

“In October, citizens have to make a civilizational choice. Finally, they will decide their fate. Nobody will be to blame because this is the sovereign people’s will now. The people are the holders of power,” concluded the PAS MP.
On October 20, 2024, Moldovan citizens will decide in a referendum whether Moldova’s path is to join the EU. On the same day, we will elect the country’s president as Maia Sandu’s term in office ends.
