Despite sanctions imposed on products from Russia and Belarus, goods originating from these countries can still be found in stores across the Republic of Moldova.
Some citizens believe these products should no longer be sold, recalling past embargoes imposed by Russia on Moldovan food products and wines. They argue that the local market could be sufficiently supplied with domestic goods.
