On Sunday, November 24, Romanian citizens residing in the Republic of Moldova are invited to cast their votes in the presidential elections taking place in Romania. Voting will take place at 59 polling stations across Moldova.
In the northern region, 17 polling stations will be available. In the central part, 34 stations will be available, including 16 in Chisinau. In the southern region, eight stations will be open.
In Chisinau, voters can head to multiple locations, including the Romanian Consulate General (2 polling stations), the National Library (3 stations), Spiru Haret Theoretical High School (3 stations), the State University (3 stations), and the Technical University of Moldova.

Outside Chisinau, stations will be located in Hincesti, Ialoveni, Nisporeni, Orhei, Causeni, Anenii Noi, Calarai, Criuleni, and Stefan Voda.
Polling stations will open at 7:00 AM and close at 9:00 PM. However, voters present inside or waiting in line at the polling station by 9:00 PM can vote until midnight (11:59 PM), as per Romania’s Permanent Electoral Authority. The alike schedule will apply to the second round of elections on December 8.
The presidential elections will determine Romania’s president for the next five years.
