The majority of Moldovans believe that salaries in the country should be at least 15 thousand lei to prevent people from leaving the country in search of higher incomes abroad, according to a poll conducted by IDIS Viitorul.
According to the survey, 30.6% of respondents considered that a salary of 15 thousand lei would be enough to make them stay in the country. At the same time, 10.4% said that an amount between 7.5 and 10 thousand lei would be enough to keep them from leaving, while 24.3% indicated the range of 10-15 thousand lei as necessary.
At the same time, 17.5% of those surveyed considered that a salary between 20 and 25 thousand lei would be sufficient to stay in Moldova, while 6.1% said that between 25 and 30 thousand lei would be necessary. Also, 5% of respondents indicated that a salary above 30 thousand lei would be the reason for not looking for a job abroad.

However, for only 2.3% of respondents, a salary of up to 7.5 thousand lei is enough to give up the idea of going abroad to earn money. This data illustrates the concerns and expectations of the Moldovan population regarding salary levels and quality of life in the country.
