Low-cost airline Wizz Air has announced the launch of daily direct flights from Chisinau International Airport to Bucharest Otopeni Airport.
“Thus, the network of destinations from our airport expands with the route Bucharest/Otopeni-Chisinau-Chisinau-Bucharest/Otopeni, with daily frequency from March 30, 2025. An excellent opportunity for those who wish to travel faster and more conveniently between the two capitals”, announced the administration of Chisinau International Airport.
With this new destination, Chisinau Airport diversifies its flight network, facilitating fast and comfortable connections between Chisinau and the Romanian capital. Tickets are already on sale.

Wizz Air recently announced that it is reopening its operational base in the Republic of Moldova and launching eight new routes from Chisinau International Airport to cities in Germany, Italy, France, and Belgium. These will complement eight existing ones, bringing the airline to 16 cities in nine countries.
