Work permits for foreign workers in the care, agriculture and construction sectors in Israel may be automatically extended until June 30, 2026, without the need to submit an application, according to the Embassy of the Republic of Moldova in Israel.
The measure targets workers whose permits expired between February 28 and March 31, 2026. It also applies to those who were legally present in Israel during the same period, including individuals who have completed or are in the process of completing the maximum employment period of 63 months and whose designated departure period ended within the указан interval.
The extension also covers construction sector workers who completed the maximum 63-month period on December 31, 2025 and remained in Israel under Government Resolution No. 3863 of February 8, 2026.
Authorities noted that they may establish additional criteria for implementing this measure.
