The Chisinau City Hall informed about the beginning of the disinfection and rodent control works in the basements and waste storage rooms of the blocks of flats in the capital, writes Diez.md.
According to the municipality, the specialized services will intervene in over 2,300 blocks of flats, and the works will be executed by October, this year.
Also, after the completion of the planned works, upon request, additional interventions will be made at other addresses.
According to the communiqué, for the disinsection and rodent control actions from the municipal budget, an amount of three million lei was allocated, or aproximately 150 000 eur. The economic agent performing these works was selected on the basis of a competition, according to the legislation in force.
In fact, the authorities state that the start of the works was delayed due to the repeated contestation of the tenders, starting with February 2022.
