In Moldova, there are hundreds of picturesque localities waiting to be discovered and visited. One of them is Rașcov, a village located on the left bank of the Nistru River. Few people know, but Rașcov is home to a karst complex, which is a protected area classified as a geological or paleontological natural monument.
Moreover, the ruins of an old synagogue (a building dedicated to the Jewish religious practice) dating back to 1749 can be found here. It is considered the most beautiful synagogue in the eastern border regions of Poland. Additionally, there is an ancient Jewish cemetery in this locality as well.
