Moldova make history by hosting the prestigious International Mayors Summit (IMS) for the first time in the picturesque settlement of Danceni, located in the central Ialoveni district, on April 11, 2024.
Now in its fifth edition, the IMS serves as a pivotal platform uniting mayors, local leaders, and experts to delve into pressing topics such as sustainability, the transformative impact of technology on urban management, and strategies for bolstering community resilience. The “Resilient Communities through Innovation and Cooperation” aims to introduce groundbreaking approaches to urban management. Also, it will promote sustainable development, facilitate access to European Union funds, and foster collaboration for the rejuvenation and fortification of cities.
This year’s summit places a paramount focus on the indispensable role of mayors and local authorities in confronting global challenges and advancing the resilience of their communities. The agenda includes feature engaging panel discussions, showcases of best practices, and exhibitions spotlighting innovative solutions.
