The members of the parliamentary committee on foreign policy and European integration have approved Vladimir Cuc’s selection to serve as Moldova’s ambassador to the Swiss Confederation and concurrently as the permanent representative of our nation to the UN Office in Geneva.
Cuc, with his robust academic background, holding both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in international relations, steps into his new role. Since 2021, he has been actively serving as the State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the Law on Diplomatic Service, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and European Integration submits proposals for ambassadorial appointments to the Government in consultation with the foreign policy and European integration committee.
