Moldova wants to exchange secret information with the United States. The government in Chisinau is preparing to negotiate an agreement.

The cabinet of ministers will approve the start of negotiations and vote on the committee composition that will handle the negotiations on the document.

The deputy head of the Intelligence and Security Service, Victor Hodoroja, leads our country’s delegation, accompanied by several specialists from the institution. Two Ministry of Internal Affairs officials will also be responsible for the negotiations.

Victor Hodoroja will initial the document text on behalf of the Republic of Moldova. If a delegation member is relieved of his duties, the appointed replacement will join the negotiating team without requiring the Executive’s approval of a new decision on that person.
