Prime Ministers of Poland, Luxembourg, and Greece to visit Moldova in September

In September, Moldova will welcome high-ranking European officials, highlighting the strong support from its partners for the country’s modernization and European integration, according to the government’s communication department.

The dates of the visits are as follows:

  • 4 September 2024: Prime Minister of Poland, Donald Tusk.
  • 12-13 September 2024: Prime Minister of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Luc Frieden.
  • 16 September 2024: Prime Minister of Greece, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.

On 4 September, Prime Minister Donald Tusk will arrive in Chisinau, where he will meet with Moldovan Prime Minister Dorin Recean at 15:30. The two leaders will hold a bilateral meeting, followed by an expanded meeting with delegations from both countries.

At 16:30, the officials will hold a joint press conference. Media representatives are invited to attend and must present identity cards for access at the government headquarters by 16:20.

Prime Minister Tusk will meet with President Maia Sandu and Parliament Speaker Igor Grosu. Additionally, he will deliver a speech at a ceremonial session at the Parliament headquarters starting at 18:30.
