Within the Costești Customs Post, the authorities opened a new customs control area with permanent status. More precisely, the area was created in order to streamline the traffic through the customs posts located on the Moldovan-Romanian border.
Thus, in order to prevent the creation of rows near the Costești border customs post (PVFI, road), the carriers have the possibility to park in the customs control area.
At the same time, within the customs control area, the process of facilitating and prioritizing the export of easily alterable products will be organized.
We remind you that, since June 9, 2022, at the Stânca-Costești Customs (Romanian side), the National Sanitary Veterinary and Food Safety Authority is active with a work schedule from 8:00 to 20:00, daily.
Subsequently, through the Costești customs post (PVFI road) from the stated date, trucks carrying goods subject to veterinary and phytosanitary control, food safety control and control of phytosanitary products and fertilizers can cross the border on the way out of the country.
