FALSE order, “signed” by Perciun, distributed on social networks. Minister: Nonsense promoted by Russian propaganda

A fake order, “signed” by Dan Perciun, has been distributed recently on social networks and sent to citizens via email. According to the “document,” schools would hold classes on non-binary genders and create bathrooms for people who do not believe they belong to one of the recognized genders.

The education minister immediately published a rebuttal, stating that Russian propaganda exponents would distribute the letter to undermine Moldova’s European path, particularly during the election period and the EU membership referendum, bani.md reports.

“A lot of people have received today, by email, a rigged ‘order’ aimed at validating all sorts of nonsense that Russian propaganda and their agents of influence in the country are promoting regarding European integration. This month, it is essential to be vigilant and not allow ourselves to be manipulated by those who want to harm the Republic of Moldova.

We must make our country safe in the European Union with perseverance and determination. The education system, pupils, and teachers will benefit enormously from European investment in modernizing our schools, kindergartens, and universities. What is essential is to make sure, by voting, that we are moving in this direction and to work together to speed up this process”, says Dan Perciun.

Earlier, Maria Zakharova, the Russian diplomatic spokeswoman, along with Marina Tauber and Eugenia Gutsul, claimed that authorities would take Moldovan children from their families and turn boys into girls if citizens did not vote “properly.”
