The national team of sommeliers from the Republic of Moldova is participating in the World Wine Tasting Championship, held in Bordeaux, France, from October 10 to 14. This prestigious event gathers the world’s top talent in wine-tasting art, showcasing their expertise and skills in a competition that challenges their professional talent and precision.
The Sommelier Association of the Republic of Moldova, supported by Chateau Purcari, will represent the country with its flagship wine, Negru de Purcari. This esteemed wine has received numerous international awards over the years, including the gold medal at the 1878 Paris World Exhibition and, more recently, at the 2020 Challenge International du Vin in Bordeaux.
