The exhibition showcases the work of award-winning photographer Sophie Gamand, known for her moving portraits of dogs. Her images highlight not just the beauty of these animals but their personal stories of struggle, hope, and the quest for a permanent home. In her own words, Sophie Gamand shared her excitement about the project, saying, “A few months ago, I traveled to Moldova with my friends at FOUR PAWS to work with the amazing Doctor Vet Moldova. We photographed over 30 dogs who had been rescued and either adopted or available for adoption.”

The exhibit aims to inspire the community to improve animal welfare, shedding light on the overpopulation of stray dogs in Moldova and the importance of adoption. “By sharing these faces and their touching stories, we hope to encourage adoption in a country that grapples with a huge overpopulation of dogs and almost no adoption culture,” Gamand added.
