Nine more Moldovan citizens have successfully been repatriated to the Republic of Moldova from Lebanon. Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) made the announcement.
The group, primarily mothers and children, arrived safely on the evening of November 12th at Chisinau International Airport, traveling via the Beirut-Dubai-Chisinau route. The representatives from MFA and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) Mission in Moldova welcomed the repatriates. This action is part of the authorities’ commitment to assist Moldovan citizens who requested help due to the worsening security situation in the Middle East.

Additionally, the MFA mentioned that no one remains on the waiting list for repatriation, as other citizens who had previously expressed interest in returning have now declined to leave Lebanon. A total of 38 Moldovan citizens have returned from Lebanon.
We remind you that on October 10, 2024, nine Moldovan citizens, who had been evacuated from Lebanon, arrived at Chisinau Airport on a flight from Poland. This was part of ongoing efforts by Moldovan authorities to assist their citizens during the escalation of tensions in the Middle East.
