The country’s pride! A Moldovan weightlifter won two medals at the World Championship

Moldovan weightlifter Marin Robu won two medals at the World Weightlifting Championships, hosted in Manama, Bahrain.

According to the Ministry of Education and Research, Robu secured a silver medal in the 89 kg weight category with a snatch lift of 173 kg.

In the clean and jerk event, Robu lifted 206 kg, earning fourth place.

With 379 kg, Marin Robu finished third overall and claimed the bronze medal.
