(DOC) Five TV and radio stations, affiliated to Shor, were left without a license

Several media outlets in Orhei, Gagauzia, and Taraclia relinquished their activity licenses after the Council for the Promotion of Investment Projects of National Importance approved this decision.

Thus, according to deschide.md, after examining the information on the activity of RTV-MEDIA-CENTR (BugeacFM), BIZIM AIDINIC (ATV), BIZIM DALGAMIZ (BIZIM DALGAMIZ RADIO), MEDIA FORUM (OrheiFM) and Urania-FM (NTS), the authorities have ordered to refuse prior approval for investments of importance for state security, with the withdrawal of the license documents.

The mentioned radio and TV stations are affiliated with the criminal group “SHOR” or promote false narratives launched by it. More precisely, the director of OrheiFM is Avelin Tabarcea, the moderator of the events organized by the “SHOR” group. BugeacFM, BIZIM DALGAMIZ RADIO, and ATV in Gagauzia have long promoted members of the “SHOR” group in the autonomy and repeatedly published their disinformation.

The same is true of NTS in Taraclia, which has actively promoted members of the “SHOR” group and published various false narratives over the past months.
