Chisinau to Host Moldova Digital Summit on 5–7 June

Chisinau will host the Moldova Digital Summit from 5 to 7 June, bringing together local and international decision-makers, digital industry leaders, tech innovators, and investors to explore cutting-edge advancements and investment opportunities shaping Moldova’s digital future.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization Doina Nistor highlighted Moldova’s significant progress in digitalization. Over 80% of entrepreneurs’ interactions with the state are digital, laying a strong foundation for further transformation.

“Our clear objective is to reach 100% digitalization of public services. We want technology and innovation at the heart of our businesses and public services. This year, we’re opening new digital opportunities, fostering collaboration, and driving real impact across industries,” said Nistor.

She invited all interested stakeholders to attend the summit:

“I invite you to the Moldova Digital Summit on 5–7 June – an event focused on vision, action, and collaboration. Expect three dynamic days filled with practical solutions and strategic connections. We’re uniting innovators, industry leaders, and policymakers from Moldova and abroad to shape our digital future. We also have exciting news for the digital community,” she added.

Government spokesperson Daniel Voda also shared details about the event. According to him, Chisinau will become the digital capital of the region during the summit.

“Moldova Digital Summit 2025 serves as a reminder that Moldova is building its future here, at home. On 5-7 June, Chisinau will host leaders from technology, government, business, and education—those driving Moldova’s digital transformation. Organized by ICT experts, the summit will present real solutions for citizens and showcase Moldova’s digital potential.”

Voda emphasized that the information technology sector contributes over 8% to Moldova’s GDP. It is significant in national economic development.

Prime Minister Dorin Recean has placed Moldova Digital Summit 2025, Eastern Europe’s premier technology and innovation conference, under his patronage.
