The country’s president, Maia Sandu, says citizens should not worry about recent bomb alerts. During the “Good evening” show on the public television station, the head of state stated that SIS is trying to find out the identity of the authors of these alerts.
“As far as I know, they have some information, but there is no clarity because these things are not simple, they use e-mail addresses from abroad, on servers that are difficult to verify. Such things happen in other countries, too. Citizens do not have to worry. I believe that it is an intention to destabilize the situation, to check the capacity of our institutions to react. They want to scare the citizens, to create panic”, said Maia Sandu.
We specify that in the last weeks, Moldova is shaken, daily, by bomb alerts. Various state and private institutions are targeted, both in the Capital and in other localities.
