During his official visit to Chisinau, Romanian President Nicusor Dan reaffirmed Romania’s support for the Republic of Moldova’s pro-European direction, especially ahead of the September parliamentary elections. He emphasized that regional security, including Romania’s own, is closely linked to Moldova’s political orientation.
“As President of Romania, I am deeply interested in Moldova and the region’s stability. I strongly support the pro-Western, pro-European path,” said Dan.
He also highlighted that President Maia Sandu and the PAS party had endorsed his presidential candidacy, noting this as part of a shared commitment to European integration.
