The EU Ambassador in Chisinau Meets with Dorin Recean and Veronica Mihailov-Moraru at the End of His Mandate

Prime Minister Dorin Recean held a farewell meeting with Janis Mazeiks, Head of the European Union Delegation to the Republic of Moldova, as the ambassador nears the end of his mandate. Recean thanked Mazeiks for his consistent support and praised the EU member states for their contributions to Moldova’s reform agenda.

“The European Union has stood by us through every important stage—both in times of crisis, when we needed support, and in our efforts toward integration. We are moving forward on the European path with determination and without turning back. The EU’s Growth Plan for Moldova will help us build European living standards here at home,” said Prime Minister Recean.

During the meeting, the officials reviewed EU-supported projects and discussed Moldova’s progress in key areas as energy, agriculture, cybersecurity, and judicial reform.
