The government will institute a state of emergency in the environment due to the hydrological drought. The announcement was made by the Minister of Agriculture, Vladimir Bolea, on TVR Moldova. The decision is to be taken, today, at the meeting of the cabinet of ministers.
“There is an emergency situation in agriculture resulting from the emergency situation in the environment. At the next CSE meeting, we submitted a decision by which we make a derogation from the water law and we will allow economic agents to have more access to the water from the ponds. We have started discussions with the banks, the companies importing imputations and delivering these imputations, we are having discussions with the Ministry of Finance so that when they present a certificate like this, it will be possible to stop the penalties, if there are arrears in the payment of taxes”, declared Bolea.
