The country’s president, Maia Sandu, had a meeting yesterday, August 4, with the ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova, Marko Şevchenko, addressing a wide range of topics.
The main topic of discussion between the two officials was the war in the neighboring country, as well as the relations between our states.
“The President of the Republic of Moldova, Maia Sandu, met with the Ambassador of Ukraine to our country, Marko Shevchenko. The interlocutors discussed the relations between the two countries, the war started by Russia against Ukraine and the security challenges faced by the Republic of Moldova”, the announcement of the Presidency states.
